The Adults ministry calls out to married couples and parents that would like to connect with other adults in their journey of learning God’s Word, and applying it to their lives as a spouse or a parent.
In partnership with parents, our desire is to lead children to get to know Jesus Christ and to build a biblical foundation for the children through play, activities, praise and worship, and bible study in a fun and creative way.
This is one of the most important aspects for all believers, especially new believers. It is through fellowship that the Christians find encouragement, strength, and support by sharing with others who embrace the same beliefs and are travelers on the same path to Heaven. The topics of conversation should be centered on Jesus and what He is doing in the individual’s life. This is more than having coffee together; more than complaining about the weather or giving a report about what you did on your recent days off or your annual holidays. This is Christ-centered conversation that encourages each believer to continue to grow and mature in the things of the Lord.
Food has become an integral part of our fellowship. We invite and encourage the congregation to stay after the Academy hour on Sundays to have a meal with us. It is without question that food brings people together, and at LSFC, godly conversations and fellowship most often takes place with a plate of delicious food nearby.
Tender Loving Care
With our focus on a family-oriented church, we serve our congregation accordingly by celebrating and showing gratitude through moments of joy, and offering support and prayers through moments of difficulties.
We strive to serve outside the four walls of our sanctuary. Through the church events and activities that we host year round, we are given the opportunity to reach out to those living within the neighborhood and metroplex, and across borders and countries.
United in our differences – spanning across various cultures and generations – we strive to worship together, to testify God’s love to the world, and to build a community that lives a life of True Worship.
Our Young Adult group is truly a family from all over the world. The young adults include college students and young professions that have a passion for discipleship, worship, community, and always fellowship over food. We strive to get to know each other more in our walk to know and love our incredible God more and more.
With the belief that “the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow,” we strive to equip the next generation – more specifically, the 7th to 12th graders – to be ambassadors of light in this fallen world, to draw them closer Jesus Christ, and to educate them on God’s Word. Led by Qunicy, Ika, and Nicole, the youth is a tight knit community engaged through fun games and insightful, thought-provoking Bible studies.
