Good Friday was the darkest day for the angelic beings in heaven, while Good Friday was to
become the brightest day for mankind. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, paid the price for our sins and
paved the way for us to have a restored relationship with the Heavenly Father. Salvation was
gained for you and me by the shed blood of the Son of God in our behalf on the cross
at Golgotha. He broke the power of sin and the fear of death over us. Hallelujah, the Savior
arose from the tomb on that first Sunday of the week!
Philippians 2 states,: “And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by
becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest
place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that
Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (NIV).
The angelic beings endlessly exalt the Redeeming Savior and Resurrected Lord in heaven. Is
there a similar resounding sound on Earth by His redeemed people-you and me or is there
silence on this planet? On this Sunday morning, let us lift up our voices and jubilantly praise our
Redeeming Savior and Resurrected Lord. Let’s make a joyful sound this day that shakes the
Earth and each day of our lives, remembering all that God has done for us through Christ.
Silence is not an option for you and me.
