Ode to Mothers

Held by grace, you greet each day,

though weariness may cloud your way

Amid the chaos, calm you bring,

             a steady heart in everything

Present always, soft and near,

you dry each tear and calm each fear

Pouring love without demand,

with open heart and open hand

You never ask for loud applause,

but serve with joy and noble cause

Motherhood—a sacred role,

Kingdom work through heart and soul

Overwhelmed, yet still you stand,

your heart surrendered to His hand

Though unseen, your hands still sow,

seeds of faith that bloom and grow

Hope you plant in simple days,

in whispered prayers and guiding praise

Each task, though small, holds heaven’s glow,

more impact than you’ll ever know

Reward will come in time, be sure,

for love like yours will long endure

So when you’re worn and feel alone,

             remember, you are fully known

Days may blur in routine ways,

but each one holds eternal praise

All you do is seen above,

each act is marked by faithful love

You are loved in every way—

             celebrated always, not just today

To our mothers who love like Jesus, thank you!
