Our hearts are heavy and burdened for the people of Israel. Please remember them in your daily prayers. Let us join our hearts in this printed prayer.
Dear Lord God,
We come to You and pray that You will bring Your mighty hand of protection and peace upon the land of Israel. We appeal to You, remembering Your words in Isaiah 54:17:
“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper;
And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord” (NASB, 1995).
We know that You have a special love for the nation of Israel. May they recall, read and embrace Psalm 121:
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun will not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
8 The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and forever (NASB, 1995).
And, we ask You to give Israel’s leaders Your wisdom. Strengthen their resolve to defend their people and land from terrorism. May these difficult days turn their hearts to You, and especially, to their true Messiah, Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
